Why hand wind when you can power wind. As other people have said, used for putting awning pegs in and out as wellas the steadies

each to thier own but due to getting older and a few probs ive started using a drill and winder for steadies and yes i maybe have to give it a last twist with manual winder to level but im not hurting anyone, if you prefer manual fair enough cant see the need for a debate over it.------------- Live Each Day Like Its Your Last, One Day Youll Be Right

hate winding down the legs i have used a drill for years.it takes seconds and i dont get a bad back.really easy to make your own fitting and save £7.find a long nut and bolt that fits into your drill chuck, say about 6 inches.find a socket that fits the leg nut secure not loose.bolt the two together and away you go.if you have a large drill do not overdo it.------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Hi Voltage battery good, High Ampage is even better, with a good torque adjuster.
I use to use mine to get the legs down qickly and then use the steady wrench to tighten them down the last little bit becuase you get a better feel of whats going on by hand.
But reverted back to the hand tool in an effort to keep weights down.
