Greetings,

I appreciate that we are a long way from those balmy? sunny days of 2012 but can I advise all readers of a new (to me anyway) fuel garage convenient for those using the M6-M5 route.

Asda have opened a garage adjacent to their store immediately off the Off Ramp at Junction 2 of the M5 (Southbound).

This facility is bound to be use to those readers north of the border or those living in the North of England.

Just right for cheap petrol, and halfway to Dartmouth from Tewkesbury.
Does the ASDA also have a cafe?
They also have nice clean toilets at ASDA!

Sorry Brian but which way do you go? LOL

Can't speak of the actual store because I was told about it by my son when I went to visit him in Stafford.

Saw the garage as I drove past but, if I didn't know it was there, I would have been past the junction before I would have had chance to turn off.

Yes always worth knowing about these. The Tescos just up the road from Exeter services is another one worth remembering as is the Sainsburys just off J25 at Taunton. As much as 10p/litre difference in fuel price from motorway services & cheaper sarnies.

There's a big 24/7 Esso with Spar shop just off J12 of the M5. Come off the junction, head for Gloucester, down to next roundabout & McDonalds & the service station is on the left. About 30 seconds from the M5.
