Hello, Trying to buy a cover for our caravan. Keep coming across listings that say not suitable for caravans with fixed aerials. Why is that? Can't I just buy a bigger size to go over the aerial on roof? Our van is about 20 foot in body length. Any recommendations? (Can't afford a Protec one)

We just put a cardboard box over our aerial.

Doesn't do much for TV reception but the cover is ok.

remove the point on aerial by unscrewing it and fit a small bin to cover it.do not forget the flue pipe for gas fire.
