We are members of the club and ive had the idea of booking a weekend away for my parents to use our van as an xmas present. My dad has his hgv licence so know he will be fine towing our caravan. But would i be able to book a CC site for them as they are not members? Would be booked under our membership.??

They could only use a non-members site and would be charged the full fee if there was no member in the party.

To book, I would phone the site and explain the circumstances, see if they will take the booking.

As Jennifer has said, going on their own, they would be charged as none members that's if the site accepts none members.Check the site details to see if it accepts none members.If you where to accompany them for the weekend, then it wouldn't be a problem as the booking is yours with extra adults in the party and the price would be at members rate.
If the site accepts none members, then you could book them in but pay the none members rate.
We have taken my wife's sister with us on a number of occasions with no problems even though its been a members only site.

I think there is an age limit of 25.

Maybe not, I cannot find any reference to it on their website. But when I rang regarding our daughter, who was a family member, I was told it was 25. Perhaps I got the wrong info.

She doesn't use the van on her own anyway, so there was no point in us keeping paying for family membership.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Our friends (who are in the CC) went away with their parents and set up the caravan and awning for them at the weekend, staying 1 night - 4 adults.  The parents then stayed for the week so 5 nights - 2 adults.  Friends went back to stay the weekend after and bring the caravan home so again paid for 4 adults.  No questions were raised as to whether it was members staying during the week days.  I don't think they were even aware that they were doing anything outside of club guidelines.
