I have decided to put a tyre pressure monitoring system on the caravan, the only ones I can find on the Internet are, TyrePal and the Tyron System, so I am looking for the pros and cons on them, together with any advice on the different models etc. I would also like to know if any of you had to have the wheels balanced again.

the wheels should always be balanced if any change.cannot see a tyre monitor changing things.

According to TyrePal when I spoke to them at the NEC earlier in the year the sensors are very light (can't remember exactly how much) and the wheels do not need rebalancing. Beware that there are some discounted older models about, or at least there was a month or so ago.

Have you tried the MAplin ones, got a set on the car and use 2 of them on the van when travelling, works for me, and currently £99.99
