We have a 2003 TEC Travel King 390. It has a shipping length of just 5.7m
(5.7 m =
18.70056 ft (decimal)
=
18' - 8 4/10" (feet, inches and tenths-of-an-inch)
yet has a fixed bed. Everyone remarks that it is like a 'tardis'! I think it's one of the shortest and lightest fixed-bed models available.
We might just be selling ours in the near future, so give me a shout if this might be of interest to your parents. Or, if they are after a new fixed bed van and would like to come and take a look - just to get an idea of what a small(ish) fixed bed van is like - they'd be very welcome to do so.
