Hi,

Does anybody put there caravan on a seasonal pitch for the winter? I am thinking of doing it for winter 2013. I currently work in Swinton just outside Salford and during the winter its getting a bit depressing with hitching up in the dark, getting cold and wet usually and the same when I get to site. I am thinking south lakes or north wales as this would be far enough to travel without the van. I want electric definately and preferably somewhere with a pool and clubhouse. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Holgates in Silverdale are currently doing offers on seasonal pitches.We pitched our van on the 1st of november untill 14th of march for £850.They have other offers,last year we did 1st of january untill 31st of march for £650.From where you live you could make it to Silverdale in around an hour.
