New caravaner here! Looking to buy a Pyramid PDQ 2011 model for my 1991 Elddis Hurricane XL. Only problem is I can only find the 3.5m version and that would not fit on my awning rail as it slopes. Does anyone know if they do the 2.5m version that you can get with the PDQ excel (previous models) or does anyone know of any othe instant awnings that can be attached to the awning rail whilst travelling that only needs 2.5m of straight awning rail?
Maybe they stopped making it before they went into administration and restarted we had one and I can tell you the video must have been edited. Also make sure your warranty is ok having the extra weight on the awning rail our dealer was unsure about this .
I know the PDQ came in for some bad press - especially the original PDQ, so it would be worth speaking to folk who have one. they wouldn't be for us - don't likethe idea of travelling with the extra weight high up on just one side of the 'van. That's just me though.
