porches nowadays come in a standard height which is 235 - 250cm.
At a guess if it was made after year 2000 you should be fine but its whether the porch will go over a window/vent etc on your new van
we have found in our search for a porch awning for our 1995 van that NR do 3 sizes, 7ft, 7ft 6 and 8ft. We have managed to find one to fit ours as the modern ones are too big for our awning. The only thing you can do is try it and if it doesn't fit get a new one and sell that one

No Jeff, that's for measuring for a full awning. For a porch you need the height of the awning rail.
A quick google of NR Rio comes up with quite a few folk selling as "it doesn't fit the new caravan" so possibly it will be too short - but best way to find out is to try it.

Our little 1994 Elddis is too short for porch awnings. So if you cant make the awning shorter, make the van taller. a pair of motorhome levelling ramps does the job a treat.
I don't know if it is any help, but the Outdoor Revolution Porchlite XL I used on my Avondale fits my Coachman correctly. I didn't realise the Avondale was so low until I made some enquiries about the full awning that was supplied with it but due to the low roof wouldn't fit properly, the only way I could get the roof and sides moderately tight was to have the roof sloping towards the caravan.

Your right Caz,that one does not show height,i usually use another diagram which shows how to measure height as well,that one is now scrubbed.
