We had one of these awnings, we did not like it because the flaps at the bottom had to be on the outside after pegging down, we found that with only slight winds they lifted and allowed the groundsheet to move. We have another make now, same sort of thing but the flaps are on the inside and you peg down outside, no problems with wind now and the groundsheet fits over the flaps, much better in the rain as well as it does not pool on the outside flaps.
hi we have the 290 size,it,s served us well but do agree with deltaman, but for the price we paid we think it was worth it.
------------- its easy enough to be pleasant when the world rolls along like a song.but a man is worth while if he can smile when every thing goes f------ wrong.
I have had a few battles getting the awning pole and securing peg (that goes up inside the pole ) in place even with the straps fully loosened. Tip is to leave the canvas out to expand and soften in the sun( i wish ) before trying.
Otherwise good but not sure that its worth the money.
thanks all, wonder if we'd be better going for the Kampa Rally Pro instead. Does the Sunncamp need two people to erect as OH can erect our Rally 260 on his own.
I was attracted to the sunncamp as it felt like good quality material and I wonder if condensation will be less of an issue with the Sunncamp?
Bigtimz, sounds just like our tenting days (trying to get the peg inside the pole).

It can be erected with one but its easier with two.
The nice thing about this type of awning as opposed to a full one is you dont end up with a series of dents where the roof poles meet the caravan side wall.
Condensation as usual but quick to dry out once the sun is on it.
We have a Ultima 390. Bought Dec 2011. Used it over christmas in wind & rain. You have to make sure the inside tension poles are expanded tightly. You can erect on your own in about 1/2 hour. We bought on Ebay for £116.00. Ex demo from a shop. Apart from a few creases when they bagged it up, it is a good awning for the price.Don`t expect this type of awning to be completely draft proof. It never let in any water.
this is the awning we have just purchaced an ex demo from highbridge ,we liked the quality and the reduced price, hope its allright as we have sold our big awning
