Finally going back to Jersey with our caravan this time. Last took a t/t about 6-7 years ago. We are taking the large ferry over as the van is too long for the seacat. Cant wait until July now! All those wonderful beaches and quiet country lanes to explore.

Sounds lovely, just out of interest how much did the Ferry work out? We have talked about going before but always thought it might be a bit expensive?

It is expensive to get here with or without van (for which you need a permit to bring it here) and equally expensive for us to get off the island, that's why we store in France. But once you are here there is plenty to see and we have lovely beaches, cliff paths, lots of sees and dos plus good eating out, oh yes the sun shines too, well sometimes (minus 3 tonight Brrrrr)

£814 for van and car return+5 passengers,£604 for Rozel Campsite,site sorting permit and escort from harbour so approx £1420 plus spends for a fortnight for 5 people. I dont think it's too bad as a hol to spain,etc would cost in excess of £4k.

Geetee,looking forward to visitng your island again,St Ouens and plemont here we come!!

We are travelling on the freight ferry so a leisurely drive down to Portsmouth and cruise over to our favourite isle
