My wife and I were going to the Camping & Caravan show in London and stop over night. In the end we decided on a day trip. At the moment the London midland line does a day ticket for £15 and are not restricted to times. The train gets into Euston at about 9.50, we then have to catch a couple of under ground and DLR trains and hopefully if all work out get to the excel 40 mins later. My question is what is the heapest option for getting to the show once in London ie Oyster/Day ticket. I fancy a quick meal and drink before catching train back around 8.00pm any suggestions.

Did you read my response to your reply regarding your comments that I was misleading people with the purchase of the TV?DVD combi offer at Argos. You had a valid point but I did returned with a full explanation so I would appreciate it if you could read what my reply was. Thanks.

Probably your best bet is to just get day Travelcards which gives you unlimited travel on the Tube, buses and DLR for the whole day. You could get them on the train, if there is a conductor, or the station.
Thanks for the reply Chalkie on my original post. Regarding your question I'm not familiar wth London at all as I have only been once and that was just for a day trip.
we're going to (weekend trip to london) the best option is a travelcard, you'll need ones that go out to zones 3 (where the excell is) http://www.londontoolkit.com/briefing/travelcard.htm scroll down for prices if you're going at the weekend, then its off peak prices
