Helllo, does anyone know if you have to return a caravan to the original dealer if there is a problem and it needs to be done under warranty ? Has anybody had any experience with this, I'm sure I read a post on here of someone who had to travel miles back to original dealer. Any thoughts would be appreciated.     Thanks.

  Did think of contacting Swift but thought  I would get a quicker response on here being the weekend. Sent a message to them now. Thanks for that.

I bought a Abbey 420 from a dealer in Salisbury. The window needed replacing under warranty, Took it to a Swift approved workshop near Preston 20 miles away .No problems. Job done. Got rid of it though as things kept falling apart and bought aTEC travelking which is soo much better put together.

Answer from Swift was that the direct warranty would be with the selling dealership and they would have a legal obligation to unertake this work. However I could approach another Swift dealership group and ask if they would take on any warranty work.                  I dont know if I have the cheek to ask my usual dealer to take on the work with not buying the caravan off them.
