I have just taken my lunar clubman 475 2berth out of storage,went to the garage I put 63psi in tyres. I think I have put to much pressure in,
The size are 175/13 not quite sure. Help apresiated
If it is of any help I have a Lunar 1995 handbook which gives the following tyre spec for both the 475ek and 475ck as, 165R13 LS25C 6ply at 54psi. It also gives the 520/5 which has the same max authorised weight (1200kg) but on175x13 6ply tyres as the same pressure of 54psi.

Nostalgia's not what it used to be.
My caravan tyres are 175x13 reinforced and in the Coachman handbook the tyre pressures should be 50 psi. but as Pete says his are 54 psi. you won't be far out if you put around 52 psi. of pressure in and find out after what the exact pressure is afterwards. I should let some air out of the tyres as 63 psi. seems far too high.
My clubman is a 2004 thanks for all the answers, some one told me today it says 53psi in the Hand book.
ps: First time owner of lunar clubman, can i run truma blow air heating on gas and electric at the same time just to warm the van up or is it not recomended. with thanks
All standard car type tyres have maximum pressures of 35-36psi, 'Reinforced' tyres all have a maximum pressure of 42psi, commercial tyres of 6ply construction have max of 54psi and 8ply 65psi with one using 69psi.
So it does not matter what size tyre you have, there is another number, the load index, after the size that tells what type construction the tyre is and what then it's maximum pressure is. But, not the correct pressure to suit your van, unless it's weight matches the tyres maximum.
So what is the full size and load index number of your tyres and what is the all up weight of your van?
PS, yes you can run both gas and electric together, if it get too hot the electric will cut out automatically, use the fan on auto set to 5 to allow max amount of heat to be drawn away from the fire
