I have a Truma S3002P Space heater in a Bailey Ranger 510 Series 6 2009 model.
The igniter will not ignite the pilot.
The igniter is sparking a blue tiny blue spark but the pilot will not light. There is gas there and twice last week the pilot lit and the thermocouple held in and the system worked fine.
It now refuses to light the pilot even though I am getting a spark.
There is no gas problem I have a full bottle of propane all properly regulated and reaching the pilot ok.
I have ordered a new igniter.
Adjusting the electrode seems impossible to me without dismantling the entire heater. Has anyone got any ideas whether I am on the right track?. Many Thanks.
Ray.
I would think its the electrode gap not producing the correct spark due to the gap being too small or large. Is the spark generator automatic or manual if auto matic they sometimes burn out. But to be honest you need to speak to ARC systems
