Well according to my local kwik-fit depot, they are not authorised to change caravan tyres, as they dont have the correct tension spanners to do the job, and although some customers are happy to sign a disclaimer to say that they will get the tensions checked independently after fitting, they do not promote themselves as fitters of tyres to any kind of trailer, and branch managers are told to make this clear to the customer by the order of their head office.
This info came via their Heanor branch manager, a really fair and helpful guy, who recently sorted out a new set of car tyres for us, but advised us to go via the caravan service centre for our new van tyres, which are due to be fitted at the end of the month.
