We use a roll top table - sounds a bit like the one Bill & Kay were describing above. We always use a tablecloth - makes it look nicer, and helps the stablity - als means you don't get stuff between the slats. I works really well for us.

We have a similar table to David, it was a £20 Milletts bargain last year, and we use a wipe clean tablecloth with it.  Actually Ive just bought a new blue spotty tablecloth for it this year, dont think OH will notice!

When its just me and OH, we have a folding alu table 70" square which is great for the two of us.

I did look for a picture of it folded, if you imagine a household wooden drop leaf table they are just like them but made of plastic

I made slats for the bed to be able to keep the bed made up and allows the table to be in the awning.
