WOW, what a bargain. Just won a spare wheel on ebay for our caravan for £20.00. We have saved £60.00 !!! going to pick it up tomorrow.

Check the age and condition of tyre before using it as it could well of been in a caravan as a spare for a long time.

Not been used is not necessarily brand new. If you have no evidence of the age of the tyre it could be many yrs old. The tyre will have an age code, for example 1208 means 12th week of 2008. If code is summat like 287, sling it, its from the 1990s.

before changing all three tyres on ours the spare,unused was 6 years old.it still got changed as the recommended time is 5 years for a caravan tyre.
