I have read on here some time ago that some people use other fluids in there toilets apart from Thetford, Elsan ect.,
I have tried a search and came up with Tesco Bio tablets do these really work.

Yes they do work, but not quite as good as the blue chemical. Ideal for a back up !

Bio powder is quite efective but you get a lot of bubbles when you rinse. Smells nicer to.

Been using supermarket own brand liquid bio capsules for a couple of years now after my dad put me onto it. Does the job a treat. (Even though manufacturers of the proper chemical fluid would have you believe it doesn't)------------- Chris

Are we really talking about the stuff you put in washing machines??? I thought that the blue stuff did 'chemical things' to whats in the cassette. So how can washing powder do the same?
(I just have a bizarre thought of what would happen to clothes washed in the blue stuff!)

I know someone who breaks up the loo bloo things that you put in the cistern. Not sure I would, but there you go.
I think I've heard of using fabric conditioner, too, but I imagine that would be in the flush.
