hi all i am a newbie to this site and to caravaning.. in fact that new that i dont pick my van up until may. and that will be my first trip. two days up north and then tow it down to my place in devon 350 miles away. so that should be fun. i just wondered if anyone has the same van and could tell me what i've let myself in for. its a lunar solar 1997 2birth..i have had a quick look on other sites and found out some people call them. leeky lunas... ooops. hope mines nice and dry...cheers
Don't worry everyone has something lol, I had a lunar it was a great van, people said leaky lunar , i never had leaks, I now have a swift, guess what folks call them soggy swifts, as yet no leaks or damp, you get good and bad in all makes of van.

we had a lunar premier untill a few months ago (1996) and yes they are known as leaky lunars but can i just say ours was as dry the day we sold her as the day she came out of the factory,she owed us nothing,fantastic van and still is ,the premier is very much like the solar and im sure you will have many a fab holidays in her,good luck and enjoy .
