There was an issue with incorrectly fitted aerial plugs, both on the end of the Status connecting into the booster and the output fitting to your sockets. Would be worth checking these out. Unscrew barrel of plug and look for very small screw through white plastic insulator; if there is one, take it out and fling it away as they can cause the inner conductor of the cable to short to ground and give loss of reception.
On the other hand, check out Michael's link above; I use a VisionPlus 420 mounted onto one their Multimasts on the odd site where reception is poor, and it generally works an absolute treat.
