We have a Milenco Security Hand Rail on our 'van which acts as both a hand rail when open and a security bar across the closed 'van door. Very effective in both positions.

It's about 5 years old and recently the lock mechanism rusted up and jammed, locking the hand rail across the door in it's high security position and locking us well and truly out! Nothing would budge it. Luckily we have a side hatch that a small person can just squeeze through and gain access to the interior which enabled the fixing bolts to be undone and the door to be opened - phew!

I phoned Milenco on the off chance that I could buy the parts for a repair.To my pleasant surprise the charming woman of the phone said if I send it back they'll repair it free of charge! We just had to pay postage back to us. I was stunned and very grateful. True to their word they repaired it perfectly and in 2 days.

It's incredibly refreshing to find a company who stand behind their products. Designed and made in the UK too.

I have no connection with Milenco but do have some other products made by them. I need a new mirror and guess whose I'll be buying.

Welcome to the forum climo, and yes it is nice to hear good feedback, I am a big fan of Milenco too. The only true measure of a company is how well they perform if and when something goes wrong.

I am glad you had a good result. Unfortunately I did not find they very sympathetic when I had a problem (not manufacturing) with the Grand Aeros I had purchased. Given that I only live a couple of miles from their HQ I thought they would be more helpful.
