Hello all

Can anyone help - we have a 1991 Bailey Pageant Cabriolet that has a large plastic triangular cover just by the fron windows (not sure what this covers - does anyone know?)

Secondly the old (but almost like new) NR Napoli Lux awning that came with it has awning poles that fit up to the van but the retaining straps on the awning are horizontal and if i put the pole in there then i would have to rest on the plastic piece (on the caravan) and even if i use a suction cup on the end of the pole it still presses the plastic in when the pole is under tension.

I have placed the awning poles at an angle so the fit within the curvature of the caravan and this gives a good "taught" look to the awning but would prefer to have the awning poles horizontal so i can attach things like a bedroom inner or coat hooks etc...

Any ideas - how do people with Bailey Pageant Cabriolets over come this awning issue?

Please advise

Andy

Our first van was a 91 cabriolet 5 years ago...I loved it, it was a 2 berth and it felt huge inside , Im not sure if I remember the triangle thing you're talking about but will ask OH he might remember, and I can't help with the awning ours came with was bradcot full awning and fitted ok.
Again I'll ask hubby he's good at remembering all these things, will get back toy you :)

Ok thanks - the plastic triangle is quite large and is fitted on the front of the caravan in between the front window and the front edge on the caravan and Bailey seemed to change this on later models.

Thanks

Bailey responded saying its a "decorative" panel ? and to just place the poles above the window rail i.e. just at the lower point of the caravan front curve - i will give it a go and see how the awning looks etc..

Thanks all

Andy
