Hi
Can any-one help. We have just bought a 2004 Bailey Pageant Provence 5 berth.
We love it but have one issue about the over bed bunk. There does not appear to be any side rail for it. We have a 6 yr old who is a restless sleeper and without a rail he would fall on his brother. So we have made them share the double. Ok at the moment but not sure as they get bigger.
Should this bunk have come with a side rail to fit or do people have any suggestions as how to create one.

we have a different van and never had a rail either but so far no one fallen off!

Our Provence van ( if i remember correctly ) had a piece of wood for the side rail, it was about 2 foot long, over 1/2 thick.

Our '08 model has 2 guards (top and tail) that slot into 4 metal brackets on the base.

You should have a pair of these:

We have the same ones for our 2008 provence.....looks like Bailey still supply them direct but £115 is a bit steep! I take it you have checked under all the seats and cupboards and they aren't tucked away somewhere?

Might be worth contacting the person / dealer you purchased the van from in case they just forget to put them in? I take it you got the extra cushions for the bunk as well? (https://www.bailey-parts.co.uk/Product.aspx?PartNumber=1200157).

We only got our Provence the other week and think it is a great!

We have looked could not find any ladder or bars hidden, we have got the extra cushions. I will contact the dealer and see if he forgot to give us them and also contact Bailey themselves.
