Our 2 dogs love the van: our 13 year old is a pro and our 2 year old ( we've only had him since October) loves it. When I'm going out to van for anything from the house he is following on and sometimes jumps in before i get the step sorted. When we were giving the van a pre season clean the 2 year old was nowwhere to be found, eventully we found him in the van fast asleep!
We have no problems with "dog smell" in the van as both dogs are dried off in the awning, the dog beds stay in the awning in the day time only coming in to the van at night and they are also not allowed up in the seats unless we have a throw.
