We are looking to sell our trailer tent and move up to a caravan. We are looking for something with a fixed bed and there is only 2 of us so we dont need anything too big. can any of you recommend and models that might suite us. Also i have a 2.2 Vectra so what size could i tow ?
Firstly look on what tow car and then have a look on the Internet to see what you like, then put the car and the van in and that's a good starting point as to what your car can tow and what weights you can go up to van wise. Once you get an idea then you can start your search :)
You don't say if you're after a new van or a pre loved van, most older vans are lighter than the newer ones.

Find your cars kerb weight and look for a van that when loaded weighs 85% of that figure
i.e Your car weighs 1600kg = 100%
caravan when fully loaded weighs = 1360 kg
