Does anyone know of a company who can supply lightweight awning poles to replace the steel ones as supplied for my NR
Porch awning. Unfortunately NR themselves do not provide these.

I'm no expert, but in my experience the fibreglass don't last, steel ones are far superior?

Had the same fibreglass pole for the last 6 years with no problems and we much prefer them to steel.

I can only go on our tent poles made of fibreglass. In heavy winds they frayed and split. I'd much rather have the heavier poles.

The steel poles are a PAIN.We can erect a full Awning in less time than the porch- hence the original question.Pete
