I take it that you mean a full size awning as you can also buy porch awnings too which can either be a good or poor fit. One of the best fitting awnings is a brand called Isabella if you are prepared to pay for a quality awning but even second hand they can work out quite expensive. If it's a full awning you need you can opt for other brands, just follow Jeff's advice (above) on measuing up for a good fit.
