You could try this website as they do a policy whereby you can buy now and pay monthly which means you could have good reputable quality tyres to suit your budget. I wouldn't advise cutting back on tyres merely for safety reasons because tyres are designed not just for maximum grip in the dry but also to displace water on wet roads.

Also you have to make sure that whoever fits them has the correct information regards the torque wrench settings for caravan /trailer wheels, and doesnt use the standard car tyre kit installed in most tyre bays.

We have recently changed our caravan tyres and enquired first at our local Kwikfit, only to be told that they dont fit them due to the reasons mentioned above.

In the end we got them replaced at our local lunar dealers approved workshop during the annual service, and paid around £55 each for them including balance and fitting,

Since changing them we appear to be getting slightly more mpg whilst towing than we did with the old tyres, despite them being like for like replacements, and the tyre pressures being checked regularly and well maintained on the last lot, so well worth the change in the end.

On the subject of tyres, our van came with alloys on the van, and a steel spare with Al-ko carrier as standard.  If the spare had to be used on the nearside, the Al-ko wheel lock could not be fitted unless some jugging of wheels was done.  We are considering the purchase of an alloy rim for the spare and have the tyre changed over. This would allow the tyres to be rotated, and avoid discarding an unused tyre at the 6-year-old recommended scrapping.
