Hi,
Just to say we've bought another van after giving up caravanning last September.
We just got the urge again and found a lovely 2005 model Abbey Spectrum 540. Got a really good deal that we couldn't resist and waiting to pick her up now.
Can't wait to try her out, hopefully we should pick her up 8th of June as there's a bit of work to be done on her.

You know what they say, what you never have you never miss. Glad to hear that you are getting back into caravanning again, I think I would miss ours tremendously if we gave up our caravan as it's the one thing in life that we always look forward to.

I didn't think we'd last long - we've been talking about all the good times we've had over the years. I think once you've got the bug, it's hard to lose it. My other half has the same trouble too trying to give up motorcycles, he says he's not old enough yet at 58.

No he is not told for motorcycles at 58, I`m 68 [69 August 12] I have an old Kawasaki GT550 [stored] and a Honda VFR 750 in use as much as I can

Good for you, Vectratot. Other half has given up biking a few times over the years - only ever lasts him a couple of months. Can't see him ever getting them out of his system entirely.

if we are now considered able to work until 65 and 67 then I think we can carry on doing everything else as well!! At 57 I still go on and participate in activity holidays with kids at school. Let's all keep doing whatever we enjoy for as long as we are able.
