I have had an issue which sounds simular to this nut maybe completely different...
I here a clicking. sound as the pump kicks in when there are no taps running. I have had the van since new and have always had it. It happens every 30 mins or so just for a few seconds.
I put it down to the water tank refilling after some of the water evaporates after heating. But then I have not really got a clue.
Cheers
Richard

Sounds like you have a slight leak somewhere and the pressure is reducing slowly until it reduces low enough to start the pump to build it back up to cut off pressure.

I have uploaded a couple of pics to the members Gallery of the offending articles. The solenoid at the side of the pressure switch is the one that is clicking.
It doesn't click all the time, just when you have had the the taps running, like filling the sink or having a shower, then it will click for ages when you switch them off.
Also, if you run the taps slowly it will click click click all the time they are running.
Hi, I have come across similar problems today with the water system in my Avondale osprey 2004. I have split it down and from what I can make out, the solenoid valves control the the internal/ external/ automatic options for the water system. The Osprey has an internal/ on board tank and the solenoids control (via a control panel) whether the water comes from the internal, external or the auto operation.
According to my manufacturers bumf,(I have the clicking noise also) it is not a problem, the pressure switch carries on working for 30 seconds after the taps are shut,so I have left well alone, also it pulses when taps are on,looked to alter the pressure switch, couldn't find it,so I am now going to fit a surge damper.
The pressure switch should be near your water inlet and water heater/tank somewhere, probably looking similar to this ...
As for the surge damper, not convinced this would help at all and suspect the above switch to be slightly too 'keen' on pressure.
If it periodically pulses too, this can also be indicative of the pressure switch adjustment, or chance of the non-return valve not fully closing.
