Do you have a seasonal pitch, we are looking for a good and reasonable priced insurance that will cover use when we are on our seasonal pitch for 6 months. my caravan club insurance quotes only 30 days away from storage in one peroid. I think they also require multiple wheel clamps etc etc.
Whats the best way to go with this, the site is in Cornwall does not have barriers etc etc but the owners live on site.
your experiance would be helpful
thanks
We are on a seasonal pitch in Cornwall as well but it is warden-ed. As to the insurance we are at the moment going through a claim, suffice to say it is a nightmare. The only advice I can really say is look at the small print in detail. Like any insurance you only find out if it is any good when you need it.
I phoned the cc ref insuarance as weve put ours on a seasonal pitch for 3 months, they said it was ok and i didnt need to inform them, but put a comment on the system to say that i'd contacted them
Mine is on a seasonal pitch all year round and is insured with Caravanguard. We do have fencing and CCTV though and the owner lives on site. We also have hitchlock and wheelclamp.
