We have a Cadac Carri Chef and use the paella pan when we need to cook in bulk. We do things like spag Bol, chilli, fajitas, curry, stir fry etc. if space for cooking is limited serve bread, pittas, jacket potatoes, salad to fill people up. Or tapas, pizza etc which you can cook on a rolling basis and can be eaten by fingers. This saves having to sit 8 round the table!
Do you have a slow cooker? The larger ones will easily serve 8. Just bung everything in in the morning and come back to a lovely supper later!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.------------- Jun Solway View CS

Make a massive chilli at home, freeze it in tupperware pots, take with you when you leave the house out the freezer (or leave at home and drive to site and realise you have forgot it ) and serve with a load of rice of pasta and some french stick, I regularly do this for 10 and always goes down well.
Hope this helps.

I'm watching this thread with interest, over the bank holiday we are all going away with my sisters and their vans, but we will all eat together , there will be 6 adults and three children, and BBQ is ok, but not every night.------------- "I'm a fool for my dogs"

Risotto or Paella on a Paella pan on the BBQ. Add in chicken, mushrooms. seafood as you wish. Very filling and you can always serve with french stick.
Chop up your veggies etc before you go and stick in the fridge and just gradually add in the stock as you go - easy peasy and very tasty
Also pre bake a shepherds pie or two maybe and take with you to heat through in oven. Jacket spuds with all sorts of toppings are easy and filling
