Does anybody who owns this caravan have trouble filling up the cistern? It seems that the tank is above the filling point so gravity doesn't allow the fluid to run uphill into the cistern? Hope you can understand this question, I am not too good in the technical department Any advice would be welcome.
I will pass this onto my husband as filling the tank is his job.
He says there doesn't seem to be any pressure from the water to fill up the tank. He pours the fluid in but It just sits in the top The only way he can get the water to travel to the tank is to blow into the outlet and then he can see that this fills the sight glass.
Sorry if we seem a bit dim but it is so different from the previous caravan we had.
Have noticed that the dealer we bought the caravan from has another Lunar for sale with the same toilet system so might go and check it out & see what we are doing wrong. (I say "we" but I mean OH, lol)
Dave, OH has just tried what you suggested and it seems to have done the trick. I suspect there was an airlock but all is fine now. Thanks again for your help.
Hi - just found this thread on a search for Stellar. Anyone with a 2011 or thereabouts Stellar 400 subscribed who can give me some information please on the washroom layout? I know the basic layout but need specific info on the wash basin and shower screen. Will give details if anyone replies.

Up to and including the 2011 model year the Stellar had a small washroom with a tip up basin above the cassette toilet and the shower tray covered the whole of this area with a curtain that covered 360 degrees.
Have never had a shower in our 2010 model but don't think it is that practical.
From model year 2012 Lunar changed the layout and reduced the size of the kitchen in favour of a larger washroom with a shower cubicle.
I think it would be a 2012 model - made in 2011 but reg 2012 .. Have looked online at that 2012 model and it has a foldaway plastic screen rather than a curtain. I don't want a curtained shower - as you say not practical.
I found pics of one at http://kpcm.co.uk/cars/org_14431_5.jpg
But can't see how the door and window blind are protected from spray.
Not the washroom set up I would prefer but there's always to be some compromise. The van is light and fairly small. Any problems with the foldaway WHB?
Sounds like they may have put this screen in the 2011 model as our 2010 has a wrap around curtain that covers the window and door. The 2012 as IT previously said has a washroom with a shower cubicle aft, a vanity unit with basin and a swivel cassette.
The folding basin is fine for washing, shaving etc but as we always prefer sites with showers etc we never bought the van with the intention of using the shower.
The van has been excellent and we have not regretted buying it.
We love the exceptional floorspace that the kitchen has and the two. Singles as we use them are longer than the majority of vans out there.
Friends with a Crusader twin axle have remarked on how much more sociable space there is in our Stellar than there's!
The low down microwave is very well situated much safer than the newer model where it has now been fitted high up above the fridge due to the space lost by Lunar going for a larger washroom. A retrograde step I reckon as this is a unique layout up until 2012 and now the Stellar has become just another end kitchen, side washroom van.
Thanks again. This is the link for the 2011 - not the one I am interested in but the result of a Google

You'll see it has the low level micro in a very spacious kitchen which would please my wife. Our only reservation is the washroom. Will probably have a look next weekend.

Google Caravanfinder video channel 2011 Lunar Stellar.
You will find a video of the van here and you can just see the screen you are talking about on the left wall of the washroom.
