agree with all other post's on avoiding BH, if we go it is to an adult only site. Again like others I love kids but I also love my holiday and don't see why it should be spoilt by others. I was brought up with holidays in a trailer tent but that was when parents told there children off if we played in the wrong area etc.
As Geoff and emmy said lets hope the recession ends and they go else where, then also innocent children will stop lossing there lives because of bbq's by the tents!
hi just arrived back from a site , yesterday we had parents playing golf, rounders and cricket oh i did mention the kids, all within 20 yards from our and friend,s caravans, thankfully rain stopped play, makes you think dont it.

Never thought i would see myself saying i prefer adult only sites ! We tend not to book when the schools are off, the sites can be a bit noisy and dislike children playing near our caravan, so best to stay away.
The parents should not allow their children to be a nusience to other campers, it is quite thoughtless.
God i sound like an old fuddy duddy but i am not really, nothing wrong with liking a quiet life !! lol
i can top that, at our favourite site on the may bank holiday. we had to listen to one guy talking to his mates till 1.55am . it was the poor camper in his tent i felt sorry for , i could put my heater on and cd to drown him out. sorted the problem next morning by moving to a new pitch .
Please don't take this the wrong way but over the years of caravanning I have had big problems with adults and kids playing ball games by our caravan. I have always informed the site owners first to avoid confrontation. If that failed I went and had a word. However when I ask, they then give you loads of verbal. As I said don't take this the wrong way but they have always been tenter's.

Chalkie, I didn't want it say before but yes I have to agree, and before anyone bites my head off too, this is no disrespect to tenters, i used to have a tent before the caravan but like you chalkie it has always been tenters that have been the culprits of ball games ect bouncing of my caravan/car.
Anyway I home again, not much else to report really since the 5.55 child alarm call lol, except yesterday all of a sudden whilst watching tv, two young kids stood on my A frame trying to get a balloon that had got caught up on the top of my van roof light......wasn't happy , wouldn't of minded if they had asked if I could try and get it, but there was a bang and two faces in my window.
God I sound like a miserable 40 year old bag lol, but it's not to much to ask for a bit of respect is it? I would never let my son behave like that on site. Oh well off to have coco and an early night lol lol.
