Does anyone know if its possible to buy the slat runners that the pull section of the bed runs in.This is the part that runs along the top of the seats ?
Which end? The bit that you pull broke on my Bailey, I just measured up and made a new one. Stained and varnished it, looks and works OK and is stronger than the original.

Ours broke too and when we had the caravan serviced they replaced that bit of wood for about £20. There was someone on ebay who was selling complete runners.
I think what Falfa is on about is the support that runs along the top of the seats under the cusions that the roll out mattress slats sit on when you pull them out. We had one break in our first van while we were away so i bought some 2'' x 1'' and screwed it to the seat. Perfect

Umm it is a repair isn't it? Just remove opposite side and replace with same. The plastic angles are weak anyway.2x1 stained to match your other wood will look fine.

If you had router you could make a new one yourself but if you have never used one then I would find a local joiner to make one for you it wouldn't cost that much.Ian

Re-visiting this one as i had made a small "prop" to bridge the gap.The downside to adding angle or routing a piece of timber is one side acts as the bed slat runner whilst the inner side does the same for the seating area.The plastic sits ontop of the storage compartment.
try halesowen caravan breakers, they are a little goldmine, and have good website too. but their shop is like aladdins cave for caravans, could spend ALL day in there, new and second hand.
