Good afternoon I am trying to remove the chest of drawers in my Leda Malvern (at the rear of the caravan) and they appear to be glued to the caravan wall can anyone advise on removal please?
If the answer is yes to my previous post, take out the drawers completely, get a torch and have a look inside the rear corners. There should be either two or four 'L' shaped brackets that are screwed in to the corners that fix the cabinet sides to the caravan wall. Remove all the screws and the cabinet (chest) should come away as a complete unit.
Have taken the drawers out but can see no sign of any brackets
Its almost as if it has been attached with screws from outside the van Becker the outer skin was fitted failing that perhaps glued? I can pull the bottom of the drawers forward and out appx quarter of an inch.
I tried to remove the drawer unit from the front of an Avondale Perle Ulysses a few years ago for a damp repair. After cutting the wall board around it it was apparent that the screws did indeed go in from the outside before the front panel had been fitted.
