Does anybody know the location of the car/van selector switch on a swift conquerer 580. I have just bought this caravan second hand and it's my first caravan. In the slimline cupboards the esm module is there with the mcb's and fuses and above the door there is one panel for a battery and water meter, one for 12v on/off , interior light/battery water indicators and pump. Then there is an alarm module but I can not seem to find the car/van power selector.
I don't know about your Swift but my Bailey has no switch for car or van when we set off I just connect the two connecters then switch the fridge on to 12 volts and everything seams to work ok I think it must be automatic.Ian

Thanks Ian . I was beginning to come to that conclusion but needed some confirmation from someone who knows more about them. I have to get a new battery so ill double check with my local dealer when I go.
I would never buy a battery from a caravan dealer they charge a fortune for then,I got mine off the internet a good battery at a good price got 110amp for £62 dealer wanted £129 for same battery.PS you don't say ware you live if its anyware in Yorks or Lanks I will tell you ware to get one from and if not they will deliverfor a small charge.Ian
