Thanks we worked it out, we thought that the PIR was wired in to the electricial system and as we had just had just changed our leisure battery thought that might have something to do with it. Didn't realise that it was run by a PP9?

My PIR was singing like a canary  - I thought something was trapped in the caravan wall lol.

I put a new battery in following the above advice, but now instead of just "cheeping" every now and then, it screams when detecting movement and the lights flash on it.

The alarm isn't on.......... any ideas please?

Thanks
