A pile of assorted wood offcuts and pick those to give me the best hight and them pull caravan up on to them. When using Alko wheel locks I tend to use the kojack bottle jack to lift the caravan and to aid fitting the locks.

we use two ramps back to back....and if we want it higher on that side then we spread the two ramps further apart.

if necessary then put a few blocks of wood between them to drive over so the tyres can still rest on the ramps.

that way its just drive, on drive off.

What make of ramp do you use?

Some of the motor home type have tbe 3 and 4 steps in, or do you use the normal unstepped type ?
