We have just put a deposit down on our dream caravan - a 2006 twin axle adria adiva 642up. It has fixed twin beds that can be pushed together to form a double - either to one side of the van (left or right) or as an island bed.
Great for us as we have a teenage daughter who is starting to not come with us all the time. So when she's with us, the bedroom end is her bed and sofa with a solid dividing door and we'll have the front made up into a huge bed for us. When by ourselves we'll have the bedroom with the beds together and a mattress topper.
It comes with a dorema awning with both aluminium and fibre glass poles, waste & water hogs (pyramid make), mains cable, spare wheel, alko stabiliser hitch & lock, battery, full size cooker and a huge thetford fridge and freezer. Reviews complain about the lack of bathroom space but to us its a compact wet room with lots of cupboard space and we always use sites with facilities.
Our old van has done us well and would now do someone who either wants a major diy project or who wants to take it apart and sell off the parts separately. All of the windows bar 1 are solid, as is the twin axle chassis and all of the internal cupboards & upholstery bar one wardrobe.
We'll also be looking to sell our beloved isabella buckingham awning with fibre glass poles (?875cm), our isabella porch awning (only used once by us and lightly used by previous owner) and some of the accessories that are with the new van (may keep both our aqua roll and the waterhog but only need one of the waste hog and our current wastemaster, and certainly don't need a third mains cable or a second battery!)
Looking to pick up the new van towards the end of the month (our choice) and take her on her first trip (to Durham) shortly afterwards.
Ooh it looks really lovely, well done, bet you cannot wait

Hi Mature-Student, Congratulations on your new van, hope you have a good trip and weather kind to you. Nice layout, very impressive, I think I will need to look more closely at the adria range now. I wish you all the very best with your van.

If in Doubt Check it Out.
Just gone through what is in all the cupboards in the current van and need to do a major clear out! Then transfer stuff over while weighing it all to make sure we don't go over the MTPLM! There is 252kg allowed for in the new van but having done a rough and ready tot up of what's ended up in our old van, we need to be a biot more ruthless in future!
I feel that lol, you do not realise until swapping vans exactly what rubbish you've accumulated until you move it in to the next one, I mean 3 balls of string!! I've never used one of them so why I had three i will never know lol.
