What a great tip, made it so easy especially if you have to do it on your own like I have to. Thanks JenniferB------------- Rose

I used to do the same but now with the new protec easy on cover the rear panel rolls up and you drag it over but nothing gets caught on the vents etc, well worth the extra £

I do similarly, but put on grass face down, and roll both sides in to middle, then roll front & rear to middle, that way you can brush off any grit etc as you are doing it. Then put a bungee round the package, and put into bag front end 1st, (so you always know which end is which). We used to use this method with cam nets in the forces to save them getting caught on everything, and it works well. Then use the ladder, and dump package as close to middle as you can, remove bungee, and unroll front & rear, then sides. easy peasy .. :)

Its not really a good idea to lay the inside down on the drive - its inevitable that grit is going to become caught up in the folding process.
When the folded cover is used again the grit will be trapped and movement of the cover in the wind won't do the paintwork much good.
