Details for your van below (I know it's this model cos I'm parked next to it ). Pay particular attention to the weights highlighted in bold:

Mardon Supreme 460/2EK (1991)

Make     Mardon
Range     Supreme
Model     460/2EK
Year     1991
Type     Caravan
Berths     2
Number of axles     1
MTPLM     1030kg
MIRO     820kg
User payload     210kg
Hitch limit     0
Shipping length     6.00m
Overall width     2.16m
Overall height     2.46m

Depending on the kerbweight of the specific model, something like a 1.6 Ford Focus would be adequate.

The smallest engine that can handle the caravan will depend on several factors including the power output of the engine and the weight of the car. You really need to try to match a specific car model to the van.
