This is probably a daft question but when using the quick lock pads on the Starcamp Quatro porch awning where is the best place to put them?I bought the awning secondhand and tried her out on the van today.Very easy to put up but when it came to the quick lock pads i was unsure as to their best position.Any advice welcome.

We had this awning, we found the best position was on the fabric next to the pads if that makes sense? If we put them inside the pads the fabric didn't sit right.

Thanks for your response.Read the book but its a little vague to say the least.Are you saying to place them on the fabric which is attached to the pads or to  each  side of the pads so they are right in the corners.Cant figure out how the rear uprights will meet the poles if they are not right in the corner.

Yes we did put them on the fabric, don't know where they were supposed to go but it was the only way we could get a good fit and the only way we could have straight back poles to keep the awning against the van.
