Can anyone tell me how you would fit the brackets below? - Do they have to be stitched into the canvas?

You know the thick seam you thread through the awning rail???? Well most, if not all awnings, have another such seam in parrallel. These brackets go through those and just hang from the awning. Once a pole is put in them they press securely against the sdie of your van.

Load them on to your awning before you attach it to the awning rail. I find that the easiest way. Just watch the side lights on the van as you thread the awning through your awning rail and lift them over them as you tug the awning through.

Not sure what brand my awning is - its not new but theres no tags on it. It attaches to the caravan via rubber loops stitched into the awning, I accidentally pulled one of these off hence needing a new one.
