Well today we decided we had had enough, after a couple of months of opportunists and chancers making stupid offers on our caravan we had up for sale, so we went to the dealers today to part ex it in on a van we had seen, and the offer they gave us was very surprising and very favourable, but when we got there we spotted another van they had just got in, so after a chat with the dealer, a quick trip to our house by him to verify our van was as we stated which it was, we are now the happy owners of a 2008 swift challenger 540, really excited, can't wait for two weeks time , few things need doing and they are swapping our MM over , will miss my big end bathroom our current swift has, but can't wait for the fixed bed, no more making the bed up

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
You wont look back once you have had a fixed bed. When we ordered our new van with fixed bed we wern't sure if we had done the right thing, but now would never change back.
When the wife and I are away on our own, with no beds to make up it feels like you are in your own mobile flat, its great.

Thanks all, we've never had a fixed bed before, because of DS, then he got to the age where he stopped wanting to come ( yippee lol) so we got rid of the van and went for a two berth with large end bathroom and shower, which I loved, but tbh making the bed up was a bit of a pain and it was a bit lumpy, so we went back to sleeping on them as singles, which was ok, but still had to turn them over ect, so we thought about a fixed bed for awhile, looked at loads, but wasn't sure if I could part with the bathroom and shower, but OH has MS so sometimes he needs a kip or feels a bit achy so needs a comfy bed, so we decided it was the way to go, now we've made up our minds we really cannot wait, the shower in the new swift is very usuable too, so its all ok.So excited like a kid at Christmas, and DS said if he ever did want a weekend away with us at least he's got somewhere to sleep.
Counting down the sleeps now lol.
