Hi. We are looking to buy some carpet protecting mats for our caravan. It's a Coachman Amara 450/2. I have searched but can find anyone who does dedicated carpet.mats that are made to measure....any ideas ?
Secondly when we collected our van we only got one door key and one key for the side lockers, is it possible to get them cut or do I need to go back to the manufacturers ? That last question has put a thought in my head.....would the door lock be the same key as the side lockers ? I didn't think to try ! I assume the front locker key can be bought anywhere.
Just go to the range dunelm and idea for lots of small rugs or mats . And Tesco do some. Get washable. They have lots . I am always looking for must / rugs. I have just bought one from Tesco .

there seems to be at least three main supplier of keys, WD series ranges 001 to 199 with 72 key variations, MC series. Key numbers 1 to 80 available and Zadi. There are 80 variations that have been used in the Uk market in a number range between 9600 and 9800.
A number should be on the key, most caravan dealers that have accessories will have some keys if not you can buy online.
You could get some made up to match - you need an independent carpet shop, buy a remnant end of roll 4 metre length and about a metre wide should probably do it and give them a cardboard template and ask them to whip it for you. Either a single piece or in 2 or 3 as suits you.
More expensive than mats but you can choose the quality you want. Did it a couple of years ago - cost £35 all in, in 80/20 wool twist.

Yes some of them move but others don't.. I have lots of different types. Some rubber backed some thin cotton type.
I do cover everything . I know it's silly because we never see our pretty carpets or cushions . We have mats and throws everywhere.
