Pulling my hair out at the min over buying an awning for our swift corniche 13/2 , we have measured the rail  its 785cm , been informed we should look for a size of 763 to 788 , we tried an 800 and it was five inches to big , does anyone know if an awning of 760 to 784 would fit our van ? , getting sick of some dealers trying to sell us an 800 after telling them 800 wont fit grrrrrrrr , thank you for any replys .

I don't know but it sounds like your measurement was about right, if you say the 800cm awning was too big by 5 inches that equates to 12.5cm so your measurement of 785cm sounds in the right area. I don't have a full awning and I don't know if when levelling the caravan on different pitches you can overcome different heights, meaning if you are on a sloping pitch the measurement will obviously increase or decrease
