Hi we have just bought an 1991 Avondale caravan, and discovered it has a slight damp problem which we are now tackling hopefully.
But one of the things I would like to put in when finshed are the flyscreen/blackout blinds at all the windows and also a door fly screen.. anyone know the best place to buy these from?.
Remis Blinds are a popular choice. When I first started caravanning blinds were only on the top of the range vans. We thought about putting blinds on our first new (budget) ABI Sprinter simply because when the curtains were shut, it didnt keep out the morning light and the kids were getting up really early. So we priced up the project and it cost hundreds of pounds. So we bought another van.

Oh thanks guys, I'll check out the breaker yard too, has the handle is broken on the Rose 6060 oven door too, which meant the outer glass part has fallen out, luckily it didn't break but need the handle to hold it in place :-D.

when we had a 1992 bailey i got two drop down blinds from argos and cut them down to fit the window.ok we used them for years.not as light proof as a cassette blind but did the job for a tenth of the cost.

When we had our bailey pageant 1992, we also did what Michael did and bought some pull down blinds.
