Around my waist as I sit in a wheelchair if someone comes too near they get my feet up as I can still use them. and would.
Otherwise; I use to travel abroad and put my money inside a canvas soft bag that was pinned inside my girdle. I was given it by a Norwegian couple, It was just a flat oblong shape with a zip up the top with straps. I cut the straps off and paper money was easy to carry.
I used an old type nappy pin as thye are safer than ordinary ones as they have a bit that is pushed over the opening bit to be sure they cannot open when babay used to wriggle. Still got them, very handy things.

Well I am not going to say on a public forum but there are any number of nooks and crannies in the build of all the vans I have had that would be time consuming for a thief to search out.
We carry a third of our money and one flavour of credit card on us. We then have thirds and different flavour CCs in each the van and in the car's structure. In all locations we have a note of the emergency telephone numbers to stop all three credit cards.
That way if our wallets are stolen or lost the holiday continues with minimal hassle; losing all CCs would be holiday destroying, losing one is only inconvenient.

We tend not to carry too much cash as most places now have card readers.

Hi, I do not hide money (never got any), I Never leave money or other valuables in van, except 15inch lcd tv, phone charger and few cloths. ------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.

We have a safe fitted too in our van..great for laptop, camera etc.... anything you are worried about.
Small safes are only £25 and although may not be total protection, they will at least prevent a casual theif making off with your stuff.
Just watch the weight of the safe, some are quite heavy...
